What is FICA?

The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) requires businesses dealing in high-value goods (above R100,000) to perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

What Documents Do I Need?

  • SA ID or Passport — Clear copy of both sides
  • Proof of Address — Utility bill, bank statement, or municipal account dated within the last 3 months
  • Selfie with ID — For identity verification
  • Companies: CIPC registration certificate and tax clearance

How Long Does Approval Take?
